This loan has the same characteristics as our Home Loan Plus Home Loan with the only difference is that the purpose is to purchase an investment property.
The loan is repaid by amortised repayments over a nominated term of up to 30 years, but you can elect to fix the interest rate for a period of time (up to five years) or to take the loan based on a variable rate of interest.

An overdraft facility is a line of credit where an agreed overdraft limit, secured by your property, is established on your savings account up to which you may draw. In other words, you can use your savings account as you normally would, that is have your income paid into it transact on it with your ATM Card, internet banking etc, but you are allowed to overdraw the account up the agreed limit.

Many taxation advisers suggest carrying your investment debt on an interest only basis whilst accelerating repayment on non tax effective personal debt such as your owner occupied home loan.
