Non-Cash Payments include; direct debits and credits , External Funds Transfers (EFTs) , and Auto Transfers.
Direct Debits
A direct debit is established by you with a third party (eg Telstra) for the automatic payment from your Account to the third party. It can be either a one-off or regular payment.
Benefits and Features:
- There is no need to arrange individual payments/transfers each time.
- No need to attend our branch or the third party.
Direct Credits
A direct credit is established by you with a third party (eg your employer) for the automatic credit of funds to your Account. It can be either a one-off or regular credit.

External Funds Transfers (EFTs)
An External Funds Transfer (EFT) is an instruction from you, performed either on PCaccess or at a branch, to send funds from your Account to an external Account at another financial institution.
Benefits and Features:
- Enables you to make individual payments/transfers to third parties without having to go to the third party, or our branches
- Funds can be transferred to an external Account in less than the usual time, via the Credit Union Irrevocable Payments System (CUIPS).
Auto Transfers
An auto transfer is a payment made by us upon your request, authorising us to make a payment of a specified identical amount from your Account to another Account at regular intervals for a defined period.
An auto transfer can be set up by yourself on PCaccess or by using a Auto Transfer Authority at any branch.
If an auto transfer is sent to an external Account then it is classified as an EFT.
