What is Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP)?

Compulsory Third Party Insurance, otherwise known as your CTP Greenslip, provides compensation for other people injured by your vehicle when you or the person driving your vehicle is the driver at fault in an accident.

A ‘binder’ is an agreement that allows Summerland Credit Union as agent of the Insurer, to enter into contracts of insurance on behalf of the Insurer. This means that the insurance policy issued to you by Summerland Credit Union is binding on the Insurer just as if it had issued the policy itself.
