Using the speed of text messaging, we're making online banking even safer by using your mobile phone to provide an extra level of authentication. How does Secure SMS work? Login as usual to internet banking with your Member number, Password and icon based passcode. Once you've registered for Secure SMS, you will request and receive an SMS with a randomly generated 6 digit authorisation code to your registered mobile or landline number. This code will be completely unique to this transaction. This number expires within 5 minutes of being requested. This provides enhanced security for your online transactions.
