The most commonly asked questions are listed here for your convenience, if the answer you seek can not be found here, make sure to check under the Help tab above.


Q. An item within a batch has failed, how do I found out why?
A. When a batch item fails, hover your mouse over the word FAILED and a popup will be displayed explaining why.

Q. Where do I find receipt numbers for my batches?
A. When you process a batch, receipt numbers for batch items can be found by viewing a batches history page.

Q. When I try and transfer funds to another membership within the credit union, PCaccess will not accept the account number to transfer into...
A. As we now use individual account numbers for each sub account (eg S1, S2), you will need to use the individual 8 digit account number to transfer the funds into and not the member number you would have used in the past. Your own 8 digit account numbers can be found within PCaccess listed on the left of the balances page.

This is similar to the system the banks currently use and makes transfers more flexible.


Q. I enter pcaccess.summerland.com.au directly into my browser or use the Step 3 button (See image on right) to get to the PCaccess Internet Banking Login page, but it is unable to find the page...
A. Your Cipher Strengh needs to be 128bit to use PCaccess, Click Here to find out how to activate it.

Q. I have forgotten my password. What do I do?
A. You will need to fill in the PCaccess Registration Form again, making sure to tick the Lost Password box. See the Help section regarding Password Problems for details.

Q. Can I transfer money into another financial institution's account?
A. Yes! Just select the Funds Transfer feature and make sure you select the Another Financial Institution option. You will need to know the institution's BSB number and the name and number of the account.

Once the transfer has been accepted for processing, you will receive a recipt number. See the Instruction Guide section regarding Funds Transfers for details.


Q. Will I be paying transaction fees for using PCaccess?
A. Please read our Schedule of Fees and Charges.

Q. Why do I always have to re-enter my password?
A. For security reasons, your browser's caching is automatically disabled while you are using the PCaccess website. Therefore, if you use the browsers own Back button to return to a previous page, the PCaccess system assumes the page has expired and will ask you to re-enter your password before allowing you to continue.

To stop this occurring, you should not use the Back button on your browsers toolbar within PCaccess, but instead, use the buttons supplied by PCaccess itself.


Q. What do I require to use PCaccess?
A. See the Information section above for details on the computer needed to run PCaccess.

Q. I have transferred money into the wrong account, what do I do?
A. Transfer the money back if it was moved to another of your own accounts using PCaccess, or contact the credit union on 1300 361 561.

Q. I just deposited money into a branch. Will this appear straight away?
A. Yes, PCaccess is a Real Time system directly linked to our core banking system.

Q. Is PCaccess secure? I have heard that the Internet is not very safe.
A. See the section on Security for details.

Q. What is a cookie?
A. A cookie is a small piece of information your browser saves when you are visiting a site you frequently visit. It allows the site to know who you are and they are not an invasion of privacy or dangerous in any way.

Q. I am going on holidays, can I use PCaccess when I am away?
A. If you have access to an Internet enabled computer then PCaccess is available to you anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
