To celebrate International Women’s Day at Summerland, we are encouraging all women to ‘just be you’ for a gender balanced and equal future. Balance drives a better working world. Let’s all help create a ‘balance for better’.
Last year it was reported in the Australian Government’s Gender Equality Scorecard that 50.1 per cent of women make up employed roles in Australia, with 39.1 per cent being represented in management positions and only 7 per cent in the position of CEO.
We are proud to be pushing the gender balance internally and through the White Ribbon accreditation process that we are currently undertaking. Our staff policy on violence outside of the workplace strengthens how important we value this.
