We had great pleasure in supporting our local community recently with two more tree plantings.
At Banora Point we planted over 130 shrubs and trees (in record time!) to assist in stabilising the riparian edge of a suburban lagoon, with Tweed Landcare.
We also planted 820 trees at Bangalow with Bangalow Koalas. In an effort to support remaining koala numbers devastated by the Black Summer bushires, Bangalow Koalas are creating koala corridors in and around the Northern Rivers, with the support of many local farmers and land owners.
As a Gold Partner of the NSW Government’s Sustainability Advantage Program, we set out to plant 1,000 trees locally this year and we have achieved this goal by planting 1,325. We would like to thank all the volunteers, customers and staff who have helped with many hours of digging, planting and mulching.
