You’re invited to walk with us!
Join one of our teams to help fundraise for the Rescue Helicopter Service at the 10th Anniversary Byron Coastal Charity Walk on Saturday April 29, 2023. Choose to walk from one of three distances 12km, 24km and 36km, with a maximum of ten people per team.
Together we aim to raise $3,000 which will be promoted on our social media channels, website and newsletter which will then be matched dollar for dollar by Summerland.

Did you know….
- It costs about $40 million a year to keep the helicopters and crews ready to respond when needed.
- About $12 million of the cost is raised through sponsorships, Volunteer, Support Group activities, events and partnerships with our community.
- The remainder is funded through contracts with NSW Health and NSW Ambulance.
