Mullum2Bruns Paddle

The Mullum2Bruns Paddle is on this weekend, Sunday 23 May and it’s geared up to be a fantastic day out for all the family.

The paddle will be held on the Brunswick River, starting at Heritage Park in Mullumbimby at 7.30am and ending at the Terrace Park in Brunswick Heads. The 10km event attracts around 1,000 paddlers each year and raises funds for the Brunswick Life Saving Club, Marine Rescue Brunswick and Brunswick Heads Visitor Information Centre.

There’ll be family fun activities at Terrace Park in Brunswick Heads from 9.30am to 4pm with information and food stalls, jumping castle, fitness activity and sand art, dragon boat flotilla and duck race.

Summerland Credit Union will be providing children’s games and activities from 10am to 2pm with Jumbo Jenga, Giant Connect Four, Finska, a creative weaving workshop with local weaver Kim Tait and a sustainability quiz with seedling prizes and heaps of environmentally friendly giveaways.

Summerland Credit Union will also be providing live music with local artists Naomi Ben Harush, Hubcap Stan and the Sidewalk Stompers, India Grant and The Biggest Little Town Choir, as well as Fiddle-Faddle from Murwillumbah. Danny Selfield from BayFM will be the MC for the day.
