Saturday & Sunday (17-18 June): LisAmore Festival
Celebrating our region’s historical connection to northern Italy, LisAmore is a free event hosting at a new location at the Lismore Turf Club. Beautiful Italian food, music by Domenico and the Latin Mafia Band, tarantella dance lessons, language lessons both Italian and Bundjalung, Italian cars and bikes including 12 Ferraris from Qld Ferrari Club, Tug-O-War, a kids space with old fashioned games, storytelling, arts and crafts are some of the highlights that will be at LisAmore.
Sunday (18 June): South Lismore Duck Pond Landcare Community Party
Picnic concert with live music courtesy of Myki Jay, Sofiella & The Handsome Husbands, LeMa, Bassix, and Timbuktu.
A perfect way to spend Sunday afternoon in a family/friendly space.
Saturday (24 June): Lismore Lantern Parade
An evening of lights and action. This year’s theme is ‘Gates of Renewal’, reflecting the history of the lantern parade which celebrates Winter Solstice. Summerland will be holding a lantern decorating stall at the festival, before joining the parade at 12pm. The day will commence in the heart of the CBD for the Market deLight! The Market deLight will have a fabulous array of local food stalls, craft stalls and community fundraising stalls. Summerland will be there with games for all ages.
Community events and engagement are a fundamental aspect of our commitment to our B Corp accreditation. We love attending events in the Northern Rivers and surrounds, as it provides an opportunity to understand and build rapport with our customers on a personal level.
