Mark your calendar for Australia’s favourite regional literary event, Byron Writers Festival, taking place this 26 — 28 August in Byron Bay. Famous for its relaxed and friendly vibe and glorious coastal location, the 2022 Festival program is bursting with compelling conversations spanning a mix of genres including environment, politics, philosophy, music, art, social issues and of course memoir and fiction.

This year’s theme is ‘Radical Hope’ and brings together an exceptional line-up of more than 140 writers and thinkers, including A.C. Grayling, Hannah Kent, Bruce Pascoe, Indira Naidoo, Ben Quilty, Masha Gessen, Evelyn Araluen, Costa Georgiadis, Julia Baird, Aaron Fa’Aoso, Jess Hill, Damon Gameau, Marcia Langton, Nikki Gemmell, Bryan Brown and many more.
