Here’s how you can make the switch once you’ve opened a new Summerland account.

Become a new customer

Open a new transaction account online in just under five minutes, or pop into a branch near you. All you need is two ID’s, either an Australian drivers licence, Australian passport or a Medicare card to get started.

Update regular payments

Update regular debit or credit payments into your new account. We can help with this by completing the Switch pack form and sending it back to us and we’ll take care of this for you. 

Close your old accounts

Once everything has switched over, it’s time to close your accounts. We can organise this for you, or you might prefer to do this yourself.

Enjoy free monthly fee

Take advantage of the monthly fee waiver by switching your pay over to Summerland or credit $2,000 a month into your account.
