Getting started

To use the Summerland Bank App, you need to be registered for internet banking. Once you have setup internet banking and downloaded the app, follow these five easy steps:

Step one: Enter your customer number

You will find this on your statements or confirmation email.

Step two: Enter your password

Use your internet banking password to login in for the first time.

Step three: Verify

Enter the verification code sent to your device.

Step four: Set up PIN

Follow the prompts to set up a 4-digit PIN that you will use to login to your app. For added security, you can also set up fingerprint or face recognition, or do so later in ‘Settings’.

Step five: Accept T’s and C’s

Your informed consent is important to us, so the final step is to accept the terms and conditions of the app. Then, you’re good to go.

If you’re on the Summerland Banking app, head to ‘forgotten password’ on the login screen. Alternatively, if you are on a computer or browser, simply click ‘forgotten password’ on our website and follow the prompts. You will receive a temporary code to login with until you can set a new password.

There are no fees for using the app, however certain transactions on your account could incur fees.
