Switching to eStatements is a simple way to reduce paper waste and manage your banking digitally — without changing how you bank day to day.
What are eStatements?
eStatements are a digital version of your account statements, available securely through Internet Banking or the Mobile App instead of being sent by post.
They are generally available on the first working day of each month, and you’ll receive an email notification when your statement is ready to view.

How to make the switch.
In order to be eligible for eStatements you must have an Internet Banking account set up and a registered email address.
If you have already registered for Internet Banking or have the Mobile Banking app set up, follow these steps.
Internet Banking
Step 1. Log on to Internet Banking
Step 2. Go to Settings from the main menu
Step 3. Select Manage eStatements
Step 4. Choose your email address for notifications
Step 5. Click Save
Mobile Banking App
Step 1. Log on to the Mobile App
Step 2. Tap Accounts from the main menu
Step 3. Tap Statements, then select Manage
Step 4. Choose your email address for notifications
Step 5. Tap Save
In Branch or Contact Us
Visit any Summerland Bank branch, and our friendly team will help you make the switch.
Our Customer Care team is available 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday to assist you with switching to eStatements.
Other useful information.
Register for Internet Banking.
You will need to have Internet Banking setup with Summerland Bank, in order to make the switch to eStatements.
If you have never registered for Internet Banking, simply contact us on 1300 728 728 or visit one of our branches.
Check your eligibility.
Eligible customers include:
- Existing personal customers of Summerland Bank who currently receive paper statements. With an eligible account using a valid email address, via an active or newly established Internet Banking account
- Personal Customers and Junior Customers aged 12 years and over who are authorised to sign on the account
