How to vote on the proposed merger with Summerland Bank and Regional Australia Bank. Every vote is equal. Every vote is confidential, and every vote counts.
Key dates.
Here are the key dates to keep in mind so you don’t miss your chance to vote on the proposed merger.
From 2 October 2025
You can start casting your vote by completing and returning the Proxy Voting Form that will be available on the website and in branches.
17 November 2025
If voting by Proxy, return your form at least 48 hours prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
19 November 2025, 6:00pm
Attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in person at the Lismore Workers Club to cast your vote directly and hear the results.

The AGM will be held at 6 pm on 19 November 2025 at Lismore Workers Club, 231 Keen Street, Lismore.

Is a member vote necessary?
To approve the merger, yes, but only after successful due diligence.
Both parties will hold a member vote via their AGM. Summerland Bank’s AGM is on 19 Nov 2025 and Regional Australia Bank AGM is on 20 Nov 2025.
How can I cast my vote for the merger?
By proxy – complete and return your Proxy Voting form by email, post, or by handing it in at a branch during business hours.
In person – attend the AGM on 19 November 2025, where you’ll be able to vote directly.
What is the deadline for voting?
Proxy voting opens on 2 October 2025 and closes on 17 November 2025.
If you’re voting in person, you can do so at the AGM at the Lismore Workers Club on 19 November 2025 at 6:00pm.
Who is eligible to vote?
Any Summerland Bank customer aged 18 or older on 19 November 2025 is entitled to vote.
If you hold a non-personal membership (e.g. company, partnership, or association), you must appoint a representative to vote on your behalf.
Any customer who is under 18 on 19 November 2025 is not eligible to vote.
I have more than one membership with Summerland Bank. How many votes do I have?
Each customer is entitled to vote only once.
If you have more than one personal membership (RIM), you still only get one vote.
For non-personal memberships (e.g. companies, partnerships, or associations), a representative must be appointed to vote on behalf of that membership.
If a Body Corporate Representative is also a personal member, they may vote once in their personal capacity and once as the appointed representative.
