How it works
The Community Partnership Program allows you to support a local group or cause through your everyday banking. Simply open a Community Partnership Account and nominate a participating organisation. From there, just continue using your account as you normally would whether it’s making purchases, paying bills or managing your day-to-day finances. Each year, a contribution is made based on your annual average balance and directed to your nominated group, at no additional cost to you.

Community Partnership Account
What is a Community Partnership Program?
The Community Partnership Program (CPP) is an initiative to support nominated and onboarded local community organisations by donating an annual bonus on behalf of eligible account holders who nominate a registered community group.
What is a Community Partnership Account?
A Community Partnership Account is an everyday transaction account that allows you to nominate a registered community organisation to receive an annual bonus payment, calculated on your average account balance over the financial year.
How does my account support the community?
At the end of each financial year, we calculate the average balance of your Community Partnership Account and donate a percentage of that balance to your nominated Community Partner. The donation goes directly to the organisation you choose.
Does supporting a community organisation cost me anything?
No. The donation is made by us on your behalf. Standard account terms, conditions, fees and charges apply, but there is no additional cost to you for participating in the Community Partnership Program.
Who can I nominate as my Community Partner?
You can nominate any organisation that is registered as a CPP recipient organisation. Only registered organisations are eligible to receive donations.
What everyday banking features are included?
The Community Partnership Account includes unlimited deposits, withdrawals and transfers, with convenient access through internet banking, mobile banking app, and branches.
Do I pay any monthly account fees?
No. There is no monthly access fee on the Community Partnership Account.
Who can open a Community Partnership Account?
The account is available to all customers who meet standard account opening requirements.
Can I change my nominated community group?
Yes. You can update your nominated community group at any time.
