What is the Community Partnership Program?
At Summerland Bank, our purpose is clear: to use the power of money to help build strong regional communities.
Our Community Partnership Program (CPP) allows customers to support the causes that matter most to them, simply by using an eligible everyday account and nominating a recipient group registered community organisations and causes.
Directed by our customers, we donate a percentage of our profits based on each customer’s average annual balance to a group of their choosing. Helping fund the people, services, and organisations that strengthen wellbeing and opportunity across regional Australia.
How the Community Partnership Account works
Open a community partnership account
Become a member of Summerland Bank and open a Community Partnership Account.
Choose a recipient group
Select a participating community group or charity registered cause, from schools and sporting clubs to health, environment, and support services.
Bank as usual
Continue your everyday banking. No extra steps, fees, or effort required.
Watch the impact grow
Each year, we calculate your average annual account balance and donate a percentage of our profits directly to your chosen group.
The Bank current contributions rate

1.00% p.a. of the average balance to your nominated community group
0.70% p.a. to groups supporting themselves
