From the iconic Bangalow Billycart Derby to initiatives like HIYA2479, a no questions asked food and voucher program delivered with the Bangalow Men’s Shed, the Club continues to support local families, young athletes and children requiring assistance with school uniforms and excursions. For more than 40 years, Casino Beef Week has celebrated Australian agriculture, local businesses and the people who make the Richmond Valley unique.
What began as a community-led initiative has grown into one of Australia’s largest regional agricultural festivals, attracting visitors from across the country while strengthening community pride and delivering significant economic benefits for the region.

Through its long-standing support of the Summerland Bank Window Dressing Competition, Summerland helps extend the festival beyond event venues and into the heart of Casino, encouraging local businesses to become active participants in one of the region’s most loved community celebrations.
