Summerland Bank is proud to offer a three-year scholarship to support a new Bachelor of Business and Enterprise student at Southern Cross University.

The Northern Rivers Customer-Owned Banking Scholarship recipient for 2024: Joseph Dittmar

   

The Northern Rivers Customer-Owned Banking Scholarship is a three-year scholarship to support a new Bachelor of Business and Enterprise student at Southern Cross University, who now resides in an area that was affected by the 2022 Northern NSW floods. The scholarship is generously funded by the following customer-owned banks: Summerland Bank, Greater BankG&C Mutual BankBCUNewcastle Permanent Building Society, and Southern Cross Credit Union.

The value of the scholarship is $15,000 with one scholarship available annually. 

Summerland's Rising Stars Scholarship

Each year we offer a two-year scholarship to support a new Bachelor of Business and Enterprise student at Southern Cross University.

Summerland Bank has a long association with Southern Cross University. The Rising Stars Scholarship program has been in place since way back in 1994. The program is an example of how Summerland Bank, as part of the local community, can continue its commitment to providing real opportunities that lead to the long term benefit of the community.

Our 2024 Rising Stars Scholarship recipient is Isabella Dowd, who will be studying a Bachelor of Business and Enterprise at the Gold Coast campus.
