The Summerland Bank app has been updated with several handy features to make your banking experience smoother, easier, and more intuitive. Here’s what’s new in version 5.1:
Easier loan applications
Applying for a loan is now simpler and more intuitive. The “Apply for loan” section now clearly shows the types of loans available, guiding you directly to the relevant website page and through to the customer portal for a seamless application process.
Redraw warning
A warning now appears on the transfer review screen if you’re about to redraw from your account, helping you keep better track of your balances.
Default account visibility
You can now easily see which account is set as your “Default” account — making it quicker to know where your payments will come from.
View scheduled transfers
All incoming internal transfers now appear in your account’s scheduled transactions and loans hub, making it easier to keep track of your money.
More flexibility for transfers
When transferring to another account using BSB and account numbers, you can now enter up to 140 characters for the account holder/payee name.
‘Pay’ menu updates
All payment types — BPay, PayID, PayTo, and more are now listed clearly in the Pay menu, making it easier to find the option you need.
Dark mode
You can now switch to Dark Mode for a more comfortable viewing experience, available through the app’s “Settings” menu.
Smoother login and security
Security improvements, including two-factor authentication (2FA), make logging in and using the app more reliable and secure.
