Wearable art meets sustainability.

Creativity, sustainability and community spirit will come together at this year’s Wearable Arts Spectacular, presented as part of the lead-up to the iconic Lismore Lantern Parade.

The Heart Light Wearable Arts Gala will take place on Thursday 18 June 2026 from 7:30pm to 10:30pm at the Star Court Theatre. The event will showcase illuminated wearable art created using recycled, reused and sustainable materials, highlighting creativity, innovation and environmental awareness.

Selected pieces from the gala will also feature in the Lismore Lantern Parade on Saturday 20 June 2026, continuing the Parade’s long tradition of celebrating art, inclusion and community participation across the Northern Rivers.

As a certified B Corp and long-time supporter of the Lismore Lantern Parade, Summerland Bank is proud to support initiatives that encourage sustainability, creative reuse and positive community impact. Events like the Wearable Arts Spectacular help spark conversations around more sustainable ways of thinking, creating and connecting.
