From 1 July, Summerland Bank and Regional Australia Bank come together to build a stronger future for regional Australia.
We’ve taken this step because we believe our members and communities deserve more — more access, more investment, and a better overall banking experience, while staying true to what matters most.
What this means for you
Nothing changes for you from 1 July.
- Your accounts, cards and fees stay the same
- Your everyday banking experience stays the same
- Your branch and local team remain in place
You can continue banking as you do today, with the same people and the same support.
You don’t need to do anything.
What happens next
There are no immediate changes to how you bank.
Over time, we will carefully bring our systems and services together. This will allow us to invest more in our products, technology and services, support more local communities, and continue to grow as a strong customer-owned bank.
If anything changes for you, we will let you know clearly and well in advance.
Supporting our communities
In the coming weeks, we will introduce the Community Partnership Program to Summerland members.
This is an established program that supports local clubs, schools and community groups through everyday banking — and will expand opportunities for communities across the Northern Rivers and beyond.
