Earlier this year, Summerland Bank pledged to donate $50 to Friends of the Koala for every customer who switched to eStatements during February and March.

Designed to help reduce paper use while supporting local environmental organisations, the initiative encouraged customers to make a small practical change that would create a positive local impact. Following the initiative, Summerland Bank has donated $7,000 to Friends of the Koala to support their important work protecting and restoring koala habitat across the Northern Rivers and caring for sick and injured koalas.
